Granny's Mahogany Cake and Frosting

  • To make the frosting, beat 1 cup butter until easy and creamy. Gradually sift inside the confectioners' sugar, and beat until smooth. Stir in the coffee, cocoa, and vanilla till properly mixed.
  • Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread top with approximately 1/five frosting. Place the second one layer on pinnacle of the primary, and frost. Repeat with the third layer. Use remaining frosting to frost top and aspects.
