  • Pour 3/4 of the cream in a separate saucepan; bring to a boil. Gradually stir maple syrup into cream.
  • Stir final cream with cornstarch in a bowl until smooth; upload to the maple aggregate. Stir in butter. Reduce heat to low and gently simmer till barely thickened, about 10 mins. Transfer to a small fondue pot.

Notes :

  • For a barely lighter version, you could replacement approximately 1/4th of the cream with whole milk alternatively.
